Are you heeding the call of this year's theme "Transforming our libraries, ourselves" but don't know where to start? Are you interested in transforming your library by bringing in new communities? Join us to talk about successful outreach projects. The panel will share ways to identify underserved populations in your community and create outreach plans to take back to your library.

This presentation will present the results of the 2015 Seguimos Creando Enlaces conference. Seguimos Creando Enlaces, now in it's 4th year, is a free conference held in San Diego,CA that brings together librarians from the US and Mexico to share projects and exchange ideas. This year's conference focused on creating outreach plans to reach underserved Latino and Spanish-speaking groups in our communities. This session will include examples of successful outreach stories and tips so you can do it yourself.

Thanks for coming to our session. I've attached the handout with steps to creating an outreach plan that we talked about on Sunday. Thanks again to my fellow presenters and to Yolanda Cuesta for creating the worksheet.
